P0114: Intake Air Temperature Circuit Intermittent

LowPowertrainDIY: Easy

Can you still drive? Yes, this is a low-severity intermittent issue. Your car will run fine most of the time.

What Does P0114 Mean?

Code P0114 indicates that the intake air temperature sensor signal is erratic or cutting in and out. The ECU detects sudden jumps or drops in the IAT reading that are not consistent with actual air temperature changes. This is most often a wiring or connector issue rather than a sensor failure.
