Oil Change

Warm up the engine for 2-3 minutes to thin the oil, then turn it off and safely raise the vehicle on jack stands.

Locate the oil drain plug underneath the engine and position the drain pan beneath it.

Remove the drain plug with a socket wrench and allow the oil to fully drain for 5-10 minutes.

Remove the old oil filter using an oil filter wrench. Apply a thin layer of new oil to the gasket of the new filter and install it hand-tight.

Reinstall the drain plug with a new crush washer if needed, and torque to the manufacturer's specification.

Lower the vehicle, then add the correct type and amount of new oil through the oil filler cap using a funnel.

Start the engine and let it idle for a minute. Check underneath for leaks, then turn off the engine and verify the oil level on the dipstick.
