What Does P0018 Mean?

Code P0018 indicates a timing correlation fault between the crankshaft and intake camshaft on bank 2 of a V-configuration engine. The ECM has determined that the intake camshaft position is out of the expected range relative to the crankshaft. This points to a timing chain or VVT issue on the side of the engine opposite bank 1.
