What Does P0008 Mean?

Code P0008 indicates a correlation error between the crankshaft position and the bank 1 camshaft position. The ECM has detected that the mechanical timing between the crankshaft and camshaft is outside the expected range. This is commonly caused by a stretched timing chain or faulty variable valve timing components.
