Transmission Slipping

Urgency: High

Transmission slipping means the transmission is not engaging properly in the correct gear. You may notice the engine revving higher than normal without acceleration, delayed gear engagement, or the transmission jumping out of gear. This can be caused by low transmission fluid, worn clutch plates, or failing solenoids.
