Tire Rotation
EasyTire rotation involves moving tires from one position on the vehicle to another to ensure even tread wear. Front and rear tires wear differently due to steering, weight distribution, and drivetrain forces. Regular rotation extends tire life and maintains balanced handling and traction.

Step-by-Step Instructions
Check the owner's manual for the recommended rotation pattern (front-to-rear, X-pattern, etc.) based on your drivetrain type.
Mark each tire's current position with chalk so you can track the rotation pattern.
Loosen all lug nuts slightly while the vehicle is on the ground.
Raise one end of the vehicle on jack stands, remove the wheels, and place them in their new positions according to the rotation pattern.
Raise the other end and complete the swap. Hand-thread the lug nuts to avoid cross-threading.
Lower the vehicle and torque all lug nuts to the manufacturer's specification in a star pattern.
Check and adjust tire pressures to the recommended PSI listed on the driver's door jamb sticker.
Tips & Warnings
- Rotate tires every 5,000-7,500 miles or with every oil change for best results.
- If you have a full-size spare, include it in the rotation pattern to equalize wear across all five tires.
- Do not rotate directional tires side-to-side — they can only be swapped front-to-rear on the same side.
- Re-torque lug nuts after 50-100 miles of driving as they can settle.
