Step-by-Step Instructions

Spray penetrating oil on the upper and lower mounting bolts and nuts. Allow it to soak for several minutes.

Remove the upper mounting nut (some vehicles require accessing this from inside the trunk or under the vehicle), then remove the lower mounting bolt.

Remove the old shock absorber and compare it to the new one for correct length and mounting style.
